Hi there!

Sooo...I'm a former CP (and current Campus Rep) and I've got an interview for a PI tomorrow. To sum up, I need your help! If you've taken any classes while on the CP, can you tell me anything and everything about them? I know the basics, but I didn't take any of them because I had online classes. So, how was registration? Were your classes on your days off? Was it a lot of work? Did the classes help? ...anything you can think of! Muchas gracias!

Question & Suggestions? Dec. 4th, 2006 @ 12:23 pm

First: has anyone tried this new Crayola Sidewalk Paint?  Apparently it's like chalk...but paint.  Just wondering how/if it's working.

Second: has anyone had a really successful E-Presentation event?  The two I've attended here have been terribly attended, and I'm wondering what we're doing wrong...or if we should be doing something else that we're not.

Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks!

Another good reason to participate in the Walt Disney World College Program. To apply or for more information, visit: www.wdwcollegeprogram.com.

The Walt Disney Company ranked No. 1 in
BusinessWeek's 'Best Place to Launch a Career'

According to the Sept. 18 issue of BusinessWeek, "Disney's strong on-campus recruiting, solid benefits and collaborative culture helped put the entertainment giant at the head of the BusinessWeek ranking, which identifies top employers for new college graduates."

BusinessWeek, which analyzed feedback from students, college career counselors, and employers to compile the list said, "Disney's place at the pinnacle is also a testament to its popularity with students, but its desirability goes well beyond the company's instant name recognition."

BusinessWeek also used data from a Universum Communications survey of more than 37,000 U.S. undergrads ranking the most desirable employers. The Walt Disney Company was named the "No. 1 Ideal Employer" in their survey.

BusinessWeek also noted the importance of internships in recruiting at top companies. "Increasingly, the most popular and effective recruiting strategy is the use of internships. To identify promising recruits early and to sell them on a company at the same time, more employers are looking to their intern pool to fill full-time slots. Among employers that supplied internship data, nearly half increased their reliance on interns since 2004; at six companies on the list, more than 50% of the 2006 entry-level hires were former interns."

» CP Rep NC Question
Hey, all! I am a new college rep at NC State and I have yet to hear from my local area recruiter. To top it off, I have lost track of her email address. If there are any other NC/SC/VA area CP Reps here - does anyone happen to have her contact info? Thanks so much!

» New Season
Hello reps. Just getting a head start to a new recruiting season. First off, anyone in the WI/MN area? More importantly, anyone with Jeanne Walsh as your campus recruitor and planning on attending her arranged kickoff party? Just wondering. Also, just to get some advice from people, I go to a smaller campus and sometimes for recruiting, we have a rough time coming up with creative ideas to get larger numbers to attend our presentations, anyone have any good ideas to share?
» Howdy from Texas!
Just wondering if anyone had ever thrown a send-off party. We've thought about it and talked about it, but never actually done it-yet. I'd like to start it off this semester & was wondering if anyone had any pointers/tips/hints/ideas that I might ponder :)

Thank in advance!
